Digital radiography vendor Canon Medical Systems, a division of Canon U.S.A., has expanded its line of DR systems with the introduction of its CXDI-40EC product.
The unit features a large-area new-MIS sensor and TFT (LANMIT 8) and is equipped with a 17 x 17-inch (43 x 43-cm) imaging area, according to Canon of Lake Success, NY.
The CXDI-40EC system consists of an amorphous silicon flat-panel detector and cesium iodide scintillator, is equipped with Ethernet 10/100 Base-T connectivity, offers DICOM 3.0 compatibility, and complies with Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) standards for interoperability, the company said.
