Philips, Ascent to bring 200 DR systems to China

Andover, MA-based Philips Medical Systems and Chinese medical equipment wholesaler Ascent Profit have signed an agreement to deliver 200 high-end radiography systems to hospitals in China.

Delivery of Philips DigitalDiagnost and Essenta DR systems is scheduled for this year. The contract is worth an estimated $35 million.
