Virtual Imaging wins FDA clearance for FluoroPro

Virtual Imaging of Deerfield Beach, FL, has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its new high-resolution digital acquisition system, FluoroPro.

Developed for use with radiographic and fluoroscopic systems, FluoroPro consists of a high-resolution CCD camera, image processor, and interface kit. The camera is designed for fluoroscopic imaging and can be used with any image intensifier.

FluoroPro can replace conventional spot-film techniques, offers the ability to view digital fluoroscopic images, and is DICOM 3.0-compliant with worklist, print, send, write to CDR/DVD-R in DICOM format, and medical read/write functions.
