2007 10 22 11 33 06 706(Booth 3311) Digital radiography (DR) vendor Canon Medical Systems of Irvine, CA, will feature its line of portable and general DR sensors, including a sensor with a 17 x 17-inch imaging area, in its booth at this year's RSNA meeting.

On display in the firm's booth will be Canon CXDI-50G, a portable DR unit with a large imaging area of 14 x 17 inches. CXDI-50G can be combined with a mobile unit for bedside imaging, and it will be shown integrated with the newly redesigned RadPro 40kW mobile x-ray system and RadPro 4kW portable x-ray system, as well as Canon's Field Deployable Digital Radiography System (FDDRS).

Canon also will highlight its Canon CXDI-40EG general DR sensor, with its 17 x 17-inch imaging area. The system can be retrofitted onto new or existing bucky tables, upright tilting wall stands, or universal or ceiling-suspended multipositioning units, according to Canon.
