(Booth 7162) Digital radiography (DR) developer Swissray International of East Brunswick, NJ, will introduce a new line of dual-detector DR products at the RSNA 2007 conference, and will also highlight systems introduced at past shows.
The company said that the new products will use a portable digital x-ray detector technology that will allow greater positioning flexibility and provide advanced applications, especially in an emergency medicine environment.
The vendor will also highlight ddRCompact, introduced at the 2006 RSNA show. The system incorporates the company's digital high-definition silicon solid-state detector with microlens technology. The system includes an active detector area of more than 17 inches, and performs DR applications on recumbent, standing, and sitting patients, including off-detector and off-center applications.
ddRCompact comes with Swissray's automated positioning system (APS), which automates all positioning and image acquisition requirements. It also includes Swissray's autostitching feature, with combines up to four images and allows the viewing of a single image of long bones such as complete spines.
