(Booth 1358) Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, CA, plans to debut two new PaxScan flat-panel digital radiography (DR) systems at the 2007 RSNA meeting.
PaxScan 4336R adds a 14 x 17-inch detector to Varian's line of flat-panel products, and is designed for use in radiographic applications. PaxScan 4343R is Varian's largest flat-panel x-ray image detector, at 17 x 17 inches; it is designed for permanent mounting on radiographic tables or wall stands and for any application that requires a large field-of-view.
Both panels come with the company's Viva software, a system design and development application for image acquisition and viewing on a workstation with Microsoft Windows. Also included with Viva is a dynamic link library (DLL) to allow for simple software development.
