Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Rcadia Medical Imaging of Haifa, Israel, has installed its COR Analyzer at St. James Healthcare in Butte, MT, making the facility the company's first U.S. beta site for the system.
COR Analyzer is designed to perform automatic segmentation and tracking of the coronary artery tree for coronary CT angiography (CTA) procedures without human intervention. The technology detects stenotic lesions in the major coronary arteries and automatically identifies patients without coronary artery disease with a high negative predictive value.
