Medical informatics firm CompuMed is demonstrating new features for its OsteoGram bone density screening software at this week's RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.
Enhancements to the software reduce the number of images that must be acquired from two to one, increasing efficiency and reducing the time required for a screening study, according to the Los Angeles-based company.
In addition, the new version has autodetection capabilities to find the target region in large x-ray images, simplifying operator workflow, CompuMed said.
