Ziehm debuts digital C-arms at RSNA

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging of Riverside, CA, is showcasing two new radiology products at the 2007 RSNA meeting: the Ziehm Vision FD (fully digital) and Ziehm Vision R FD.

The Ziehm Vision FD and Ziehm Vision R FD are designed to deliver the lowest possible radiation dose to patients using Object Detected Dose Control (ODDC), which detects objects and then activates an automated dose and video control in real-time.

The Vision FD is a mobile unit and offers fully digital and distortion-free images. The Vision R (rotating anode) is a fully digital C-arm is intended for use in interventional, cardiac, vascular and general surgery settings.
