Del Global Technologies of Franklin Park, IL, unveiled two DR products at this week's RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.
The Del Image Management System (DEL IMS) DR acquisition system employs a Trixell Pixium 4600 flat-panel detector to convert x-ray data to digital images. The DR operator console is designed to control all image management functions throughout the imaging chain from acquisition to storage.
Del plans to integrate Del IMS technology into its entire product line, with clinical release in the U.S. slated for the first quarter of 2008.
The Apollo DRF multifunctional table with 43 x 43-cm dynamic flat-panel detector is intended for use in radiographic and fluoroscopic exams. With integrated functionality that provides instant exposure display for evaluation of image quality, this product supports required archiving and printing activities.
The Apollo DRF will be introduced in the second quarter of 2008 with U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance pending.
