Aribex nets second x-ray patent

Handheld x-ray developer Aribex has received a second U.S. patent for its Nomad handheld x-ray system.

The patent (Appl. #20070269010) protects the central concept of having all components of the x-ray system in the same enclosure, according to the Orem, UT-based firm. Aribex received patent #7,224,769 for its digital x-ray camera in October 2007.
