Medtronic brings Endeavor stent to Japan

Interventional technology firm Medtronic has received approval for its Endeavor drug-eluting coronary stent system by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.

The Minneapolis-based firm said it would launch Endeavor in Japan immediately following reimbursement authorization, which is expected on May 1.
