Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions has released its SwiftLink catheter cover for the Acuson AcuNav 2D intracardiac echo catheter from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
The catheter is used with GE's Vivid i portable ultrasound system, according to CIVCO of Kalona, IA.
In other CIVCO news, the company has introduced a disposable endocavity needle guidance system for Zonare Medical Systems' E9-4 transducer. The system works in conjunction with biopsy software on the Mountain View, CA-based vendor's z.one ultrasound platform.
