Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, has signed a contract to provide medical equipment to the New York Yankees baseball team.
As part of the agreement, a digital radiography system was installed at Yankee Stadium for the onsite diagnosis of players by the Yankees' medical team.
Philips also will supply automated external defibrillators for both home and visiting player areas, as well as at select locations at the stadium for emergency care to fans if needed during a game.
