Carestream begins shipping new DRX-1 unit

Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has begun shipping its wireless cassette-size digital radiography detector.

Carestream's DRX-1 system is designed for general radiology, trauma, and orthopedic applications. The unit requires no modifications to existing analog equipment, according to Carestream.
