X-ray service and accessories company Reina Imaging of Crystal Lake, IL, plans to showcase a new line of accessories for digital radiography (DR) at the upcoming American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) meeting in Las Vegas.
Reina has added to its Protect-A-Grid line PAG-DRP, a premium grid encasement for portable DR exams. It has also developed Trans-Former DRP Mobile Holder, a wall bucky on wheels custom-made to interface with existing OEM DR panels. No electrical outlet is required, and the unit pivots from portrait to landscape, according to the company.
Reina will also debut its DRP Weight Distributor, designed for imaging morbidly obese patients. The device protects DR panels by evenly distributing a patient's weight across the surface.
Finally, the company will introduce DRP Table Top Holder, which allows radiographers to set up cross-table, caudal, and cephalic views, Reina said.
