Radiography vendor Del Global Technologies of Roselle, IL, has launched its new Gemini V series of digital flat-panel detectors as a field upgradeable retrofit.
The Gemini V series consists of three detector options, all utilizing amorphous silicon (a-Si) technology.
Gemini 1400V is a portable flat-panel detector with the same dimensions as a regular 14 x 17-inch (36 x 43-cm) cassette, making it an immediate replacement for computed radiography plates and conventional films.
Gemini 1700V and Gemini 1700V-C flat-panel detectors are fixed 17 x 17-inch (43 x 43-cm) units and the company's largest detectors designed for general digital radiographic imaging.
All three Gemini V detectors are integrated with DelWorks acquisition software, an intuitive Windows-based user interface designed to optimize workflow. Additional features include advanced image processing, automatic setting adjustment, and full DICOM 3.0 compatibility.
