Toshiba America Medical Systems will debut low-contrast imaging capabilities for its Infinix-i angiography systems at this week's Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) annual meeting in San Francisco.
Low-contrast imaging allows for better soft-tissue visualization, including brain tissue, cerebral ventricles, and hepatic visualization, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. The new feature will be available on Infinix-i systems with mid-sized (12 x 12-inch) and large (12 x 16-inch) flat-panel digital detectors.
