Dear Digital X-Ray Insider,

Digital x-ray is having a major impact on multiple areas of medical imaging, but the technology is particularly useful for musculoskeletal applications. In this edition of the Digital X-Ray Insider, we bring you news from Brazil, where researchers have developed software for measuring the degree of scoliosis on digital images.

Another recent study found that chest x-ray is effective for identifying children with Kawasaki disease who might be at risk for coronary artery aneurysms. And U.K. researchers believe that clinicians should continue to evaluate smokers with hemoptysis even if their chest x-rays are normal. Find out why by clicking here.
