Imaging informatics firm Viztek has announced the installation of its new Opal-CR at the Park Avenue Family Practice in Yonkers, NY.
The ambulatory care facility performs a high volume of computed radiography (CR) procedures, up to 40-50 x-ray exams a day, and purchased the Opal-CR to upgrade and replace outdated CR technology, the Garner, NC, firm said. The center uses several different imaging modalities and uses Viztek's Opal-Rad PACS software throughout the practice.
