X-ray and PACS accessories developer S&S Technology will be introducing its 480-DR tilting mobile cassette holder at the 2009 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The holder has adjustable supports to accommodate wireless digital radiography (DR) flat-panel detectors of all sizes, according to the Houston-based firm. The mobile stand is made of heavy-gauge steel with a cast aluminum body and stainless steel vertical travel rods. The base includes a brake system on the rear casters to allow for locking after positioning, S&S said.
