Digital x-ray firm Kub Technologies (Kubtec) of Milford, CT, has sold its Xpert 80 to McGill University in Montreal.
McGill's Centre for Bone and Periodontal Research will use the digital specimen radiography system to support research in skeletal health.
Xpert 80 features digital detectors ranging in size from 2 x 2 inch to 16 x 16 inch for x-ray imaging of laboratory animals in vivo and DICOM 3.0-compliant software with the option to save images in JPEG or TIFF format.
