Orthopedic imaging developer OrthoScan of Scottsdale, AZ, launched a new version of its mini C-arm with a flat detector at this week's American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting in New Orleans.
The addition of the flat detector is designed for enhanced image quality and lower dose, according to OrthoScan.
The product launch follows a new round of financing for OrthoScan. Participants in the investment were California Technology Ventures, River Cities Capital Funds, and Aphelion Capital.
Proceeds from the financing will be used to support ongoing development efforts.
