InfiMed adds image stitching

X-ray technology developer InfiMed has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its InfiStitch x-ray image stitching feature.

Available on InfiMed's digital radiography platform, InfiStitch allows users to create composite images from individual x-rays, according to the Liverpool, NY-based vendor. Both manual and automatic compositing of individual x-rays can be performed, InfiMed said.
