X-ray technology developer InfiMed of Liverpool, NY, has introduced its new iCynergy digital imaging system, which combines both radiography/fluoroscopy and digital radiography (DR) through the use of either a flat-panel detector or CCD camera for image acquisition and viewing capability from a single console.
Additional features of iCynergy include integration to various x-ray generators, InfiMed's InfiVision imaging acquisition software for enhanced image quality, and a multitasking user interface designed to reduce technologist training time. iCynergy is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and available for commercial sale.
