Radiography quality control technology developer Diagnostic Imaging Specialists (DISC) will introduce its DR Radchex Plus system at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) meeting next month in Vancouver, British Columbia.
DR Radchex Plus provides quality assurance for digital radiography (DR) images with embedded imaging objects, according to the vendor. It employs a patient-equivalent phantom to produce entrance and exit doses, as well as images that can be tracked over time to monitor calibration trends, DISC said.
DR Radchex Plus produces dose and image values simultaneously with one automatic exposure control (AEC) exposure, according to the firm.
