Imaging informatics firm Viztek has introduced FIT-DR, a dual-detector digital radiography (DR) system.
With its pair of cesium detectors, FIT-DR (Fixed Integrated With Tethered Digital Radiography) can accommodate a full range of x-ray exams without patient repositioning, according to the vendor.
FIT-DR includes one tethered, adjustable panel that sits in a pull-out tray in the table enclosure. This panel can be rotated within the tray to achieve portrait and landscape orientations, according to Viztek. A second 17 x 17-inch fixed-position panel in the upright wall stand eliminates the need to rotate the detector to support different patient views, Viztek said.
FIT-DR is suitable for both new and retrofit installations, according to the firm.
