Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA has received clearance from Health Canada to market its Aero flat-panel wireless digital radiography (DR) system.
Aero DR features the company's cesium iodide (CsI) scintillator, which Konica Minolta claims offers ultrahigh detective quantum efficiency (DQE) for better images with minimum x-ray dose exposure.
With a weight of 6.3 lb, the wireless Aero DR panel includes a battery designed for extended life and short charge cycles. The detector design can fit existing wall stands and bucky trays without modifications.
