Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has begun marketing its first digital radiography (DR) upgrade option for analog mobile portable units.
The FDR D-Evo portable upgrade works with Fuji's wireless FDR D-Evo flat-panel digital detectors and workstations. It upgrades AMX 4 or 4+ portables and can be fitted with any of Fuji's wireless FDR D-Evo models, the company said.
It also includes Fuji's latest FDX console workstation and incorporates the firm's patented irradiation side sampling (ISS) technology, which improves detective quantum efficiency (DQE) by reducing the distance for light signals to reach the sensor.
