Agfa HealthCare has been awarded a new three-year contract by Premier to sell its entire line of digital radiography (DR) products.
The contract becomes effective on October 1, 2012, Agfa said. In addition to DR systems and digital detectors, the contract also includes Agfa's Musica2 digital x-ray image processing software and its NX workstation.
The new contract extends what has been a 17-year history between Agfa and Premier, according to Agfa. The Premier healthcare alliance has more than 2,600 hospitals and more than 84,000 alternate healthcare facilities in the U.S. as members.
