Digital imaging technology developer AllPro Imaging has launched a new version of its ScanX 12 SE computed radiography (CR) package for the podiatry market.
The new version includes a choice of the company's PACSmart or TigerView imaging software, computer hardware, imaging plates, and accessories. It scans a standard 10 x 12-inch phosphor imaging plate and produces an image in about 30 seconds; an image can be produced from an 8 x 10-inch plate in about 25 seconds, according to the company.
AllPro said the system's improved transport functionality also produces less plate wear.
