Orthopedic digital imaging firm EOS Imaging said it has installed its EOS full-body imaging system at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
The digital radiography system was purchased for the hospital's Lerner Children's Pavilion, which opened in mid-2012 to focus on the treatment and rehabilitation of children with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
The EOS system acquires full-body images of patients in a natural standing or seated position in both 2D and 3D, the firm said. The Hospital for Special Surgery will also use the system for adult patients, according to the company.
