Agfa unveils new Musica2 DR algorithms

Agfa HealthCare has launched two new digital radiography (DR) imaging processing algorithms for imaging bones and soft tissue.

NX Musica² Platinum and NX Musica² Neonatal provide bone and soft-tissue detail in a single exposure. The algorithms also include fine-tuned chest, abdomen, and musculoskeletal presets for both adult and pediatric patients. Special image processing defaults can be automatically applied for up to four different pediatric age groups.

All Musica² image processing is fully automatic with DR exposures, the company said.
