Agfa HealthCare has installed six DX-D 100 mobile digital x-ray systems at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Education and Training Campus (METC).
The systems will be used in the basic biomedical equipment technician (BMET) training curriculum for all Army, Navy, and Air Force BMETs in the DoD.
In addition to the DX-D 100 systems, Agfa will provide onsite training support at METC to help create a curriculum for the program.
METC, the triservice training campus located on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, features a DoD healthcare education program that trains enlisted medical personnel and has more than 50 medical programs and 21,000 annual graduates.
