Varian Medical Systems is showing a range of x-ray imaging products this week at ECR 2015 in Vienna.
Varian is highlighting its x-ray tube housings, flat-panel detectors, and image processing software, including the following:
- The B-121 air-cooled housing for digital mammography and tomography applications, which fits a standard 3-inch x-ray tube insert
- The PaxScan 3024M flat-panel x-ray image detector, designed for full-field digital mammography, which allows for rapid image acquisition close to the chest wall
- Nexus digital imaging software, which can process both digital radiography (DR) and radiography/fluoroscopy images from PaxScan digital detectors on a single platform
Varian is also promoting its service center in Düsseldorf, Germany, where x-ray tubes and detectors are available for shipment. The facility also provides evaluation, repair, and replacement medical x-ray imaging components for delivery throughout Europe.
