Carestream Health has received a new order for digital radiography (DR) equipment from Palmetto Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC.
Carestream will deliver two DRX-Ascend systems as well as retrofit kits to convert two mobile imaging systems with DRX detectors, according to the vendor. One DRX-Ascend system will be placed in the hospital's radiology department, while the other unit will be installed at an outpatient imaging center a mile away from the hospital.
Palmetto Health Tuomey had previously implemented a DRX-Ascend system and upgraded three mobile imaging systems in its emergency room and operating room areas, Carestream said.
