Konica Minolta announces changes to executive lineup

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has named Jack Hoppin, PhD, the new president of Konica Minolta's precision medicine division.

Hoppin co-founded Konica Minolta subsidiary Invicro in 2008 and served as company CEO through its acquisition in September 2017. His new role entails combining the efforts of Konica Minolta and its various subsidiaries to help accelerate the development of targeted therapies through genetic and molecular profiling, the companies said.

Invicro also named Matthew Silva, PhD, to replace Hoppin as the new CEO and latest member of its board of directors. Silva brings with him 20 years of experience working in the imaging industry, most recently having served as executive vice president of Invicro's scientific applications division.
