Fujifilm Healthcare Americas was recently awarded a four-year contract by the U.S. Army and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for its surgical C-arm systems.

Fujifilm will outfit multiple U.S. Army medical treatment facilities with its Persona C mobile fluoroscopy system, which images across a range of diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

The first C-arm system will be delivered and installed in the first quarter of 2022, followed by additional installations throughout the year, the company said.

This contract follows Fujifilm's awarding of a 10-year sole source contract in August for its digital radiography systems from the U.S. Navy and Defense Logistics Agency. The company has also been awarded grants by various branches of the U.S. Federal Government, including a 10-year Department of Defense Digital Imaging Network-PACS IV contract, as well as a 10-year Joint DLA/Department of Veterans Affairs Radiology and Imaging Systems Contract.
