GE HealthCare (GEHC) has installed its first Allia IGS Pulse image-guided system for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in interventional cardiology.
The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque installed the system in its cardiac electrophysiology lab to plan, guide and monitor the outcomes of electrophysiological procedures, including cardiac ablations, cardiac catherizations, transcatheter aortic valve replacements, and balloon and coronary angioplasties, GEHC said.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared Allia IGS Pulse last October.
