United Kingdom-based mobile MRI and CT provider Alliance Medical is readying a mobile PET service for the U.K. The Oxfordshire-based vendor said it will begin offering the service by November.
Alliance will be deploying an Advance NX/i PET system and Entegra workstation from GE Medical Systems, and will also provide radiographers or nuclear medicine technicians. In addition, Alliance is collaborating with a U.K. PET center to provide support services such as helping with radiation protection and environment agency issues; assisting physicians in obtaining required licenses; and offering comprehensive training courses for any required staff, according to the vendor.
