NIBIB names Dean as deputy director

The U.S. National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) has officially selected Donna Dean, Ph.D. as its deputy director. Dean played a critical role in the formation and development of the NIBIB, serving as acting director of the institute until Dr. Roderic Pettigrew was hired as permanent NIBIB director in May.
