Mobile PET Systems reported fiscal first-quarter revenues of $4.6 million, up 34% compared with the $3.4 million posted in the first quarter last year. For the period (end-September 30), the San Diego-based firm had net income of $1.4 million, including a $2.2 million gain from the sale of its U.K. subsidiaries.
The firm had a loss from continuing operations of $822,000, compared with a loss from continuing operations of $1 million in the first quarter last year. President and CEO Paul Crowe said that Mobile PET is nearing profitability from operations, and that the company is seeking to increase its market share through organic growth and strategic alliances.
