CTI Molecular Imaging introduced Eclipse ST, a low-cost, self-shielded cyclotron for PET centers to manufacture their own FDG, at last week’s RSNA meeting.
The Knoxville, TN, firm said the cyclotron’s compact size and other features will make it attractive to centers with "sufficient volumes of PET procedures."
CTI, which develops and sells PET scanners and supplies, has also established a cyclotron customer support program, called Eclipse QuickStart, that’s designed to provide ongoing service and support for Eclipse ST sites.
