CPS Innovations reaches PET milestone

CPS Innovations of Knoxville, TN, has delivered its 600th PET (including PET/CT) system. The 600 placements include 593 under its current joint-venture ownership structure, as well as 21 that were sold by the firm before it was created, said CPS. The company, a joint venture between Siemens Medical Solutions of Iselin, NJ, and CTI Molecular Imaging, also of Knoxville, distributes and markets its products through CTI, Siemens, and Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH.
