Molecular Imaging, Siemens form alliance

Mobile PET services provider Molecular Imaging has signed a strategic alliance with Siemens Medical Solutions. The two firms will collaborate and exchange information regarding prospective medical service providers, and customers can choose the companies for purchase and financing of equipment.

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Molecular Imaging has committed to purchase molecular imaging equipment from Malvern, PA-based Siemens at a discount from list price, while Siemens will provide sales and marketing support as well as equipment and project financing.
