Optical imaging developer VisEn Medical has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Olympus, which will sell the Woburn, MA-based firm's fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) imaging systems and in vivo near-infrared fluorescence imaging probes in South Korea, Singapore, China, and Taiwan.
The deal expands on an exclusive distribution agreement in place between the firms covering the Japanese market. Olympus of Tokyo expects to begin sales of the products in South Korea and Singapore in January, followed by China and Taiwan thereafter, according to the companies.
