Naviscan taps Mirabella as CEO

PET developer Naviscan PET Systems of San Diego announced that it has appointed Paul Mirabella as president and CEO.

Mirabella has more than 30 years of diagnostic imaging and patient care experience with GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K. His most recent position at GE was president and CEO of global diagnostic imaging, and he also held leadership roles in technology, marketing, and global business management in ultrasound, CT, MR, and sales and services at the company.

He retired from GE in 2006, and has been working as a consultant and advisor for private and public companies. Mirabella also serves on the Research and Education Committee of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) of Oak Brook, IL.
