The sale of one Optix and one SoftScan unit provided the revenues for optical molecular imaging developer ART Advanced Research Technologies of Montreal in the second quarter of 2009.
For the period (end-June 30), ART reported revenues of $1 million (U.S.), compared with $1.2 million in the second quarter of 2008. ART incurred a net loss of $1.1 million in the second quarter, compared with a net loss of $1.1 million in the same period a year ago.
For the first six months of 2009, the company reported revenues of $1.1million, compared with $2.4 million in the same period of 2008. The net loss was $2.4 million, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million in the same period a year ago.
