Magnetic particle imaging (MPI) technology developer Magnetic Insight unveiled its Momentum CT system on September 3 at the World Molecular Imaging Congress in Montreal.
Momentum CT is an MPI system with integrated CT capability, enabling coregistration of CT and MPI to provide researchers with additional anatomic context for functional MPI results. Institutions can now install Momentum MPI as a base system or with an integrated CT module, according to the vendor.
The system is currently used to investigate new cell therapy treatments, immunology, and cancer in preclinical research models, Magnetic Insight said.
