CHICAGO - In this interview with AuntMinnie.com at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) annual meeting, nuclear medicine physician Ka Kit Wong, MD, discusses a new PET radiotracer that shows promise in detecting adrenal gland tumors.
The tracer, called F-18 3F-PHPG, offers several advantages over standard tracers, including same-day imaging, as well as higher lesion contrast and higher spatial resolution, Wong said.
